UMANA members form a group dedicated to sharing their
professional expertise and cultural heritage with their colleagues and
public at large. They function actively in 19 Branches, 13 in the USA,
5 in Canada, and 1 group of members-at-large.
UMANA welcomes health care professionals with a Ukrainian background, who have a desire to augment their medical experience in North America and expand the healing arts among Ukrainians world-wide.
Membership is open to students, residents, and graduates of recognized professional schools (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and affiliates) as well as graduates of schools beyond the USA and Canada who are interested in pursuing a license in the health professions.
Who can become a member? UMANA welcomes
all health care professionals of Ukrainian descent or affinity,
with a university degree and a valid license in their area of health
care in the USA or Canada.

How do I become a member? You
can fill out the application on-line by visiting our
membership application page, or you may
call the UMANA national office at (773) 278-6262 to request an application.
Please fill out all questions, and do not forget to include your
e-mail address.
Which Chapter should I apply to? You
should choose the branch which is geographically closest to your
home or work location. You will then be able to participate in all
local branch activities.
What if there is no Branch in my state or province?
No problem. You can apply as a member-at-large, and
still receive all national correspondence and participate in national
conferences and meetings
